Would you consider this a "hyper aggressive email" after being told your bonus would be reduced

My boss's boss called me into a meeting a couple weeks ago to explain by jumping into a new position my bonus would decrease (after already jumping into the postion). she explained it in a really complex way - putting numbers all over the board. I was sure I understood it as a reduction in my bonus. She even seemed disheartened telling me. I was so dissapointed, verified with supervisor if he in fact heard it the same way. He said he did, I should express my concrns with that lady - so I did through the below email. Was called in today, told it was "hyper aggressive, that I should be lucky no one else has seen it etc, never send an email like this again (just giving you advice this type stuff could affect your career moving forward), I would never send an email like that to my boss" type stuff And was also told I misunderstood the original conversation - my pay is not going down. Now apparently have a huge raise coming. Please read the below email. Do you agree it was hyper aggressive? I asked her if she should could tell me how it was aggressive and she didn't really have a way to respond.. (and she seemed irritated that I even asked her to specify how" she just said "listen the point is you need to not do this in writing, you need to have a conversation with me about it first" I said okay and I'm sorry I will make sure to moving forward. I'm sorry if it can across as aggressive I certainly didn't mean to do that.

Can someone give me some thoughts on this? How will it affect me moving forward with her? Is the below email that bad? Or would you say maybe she just didn't like being challenged? Will it blow over. Have I trained myself with this whole drama.

Email:

Dear big boss,
"Hope you are well.
Wanted to touch base here on an a couple of things here.

I'd like to revisit our conversation from Tuesday at some point. I was very disappointed to find out about a reduction in the original bonus structure I was offered (by switching to Sales Development.) I'm very much second guessing the opportunity, would almost like to consider not taking it because of this.

Respectfully, I want to point out that over the past few months I have taken on a lot of new challenges (when almost no one was willing), written SOPs/how to's, diligently trained others, taken almost double the amount of inbound calls as anybody else on the team , found more indoor equipment opportunities (141 that have come to fruition, that I can track) than anyone, maintained my numbers for renewals (often while doing 2-3 times the amount of what's expected), taken on 3 new markets for Sales Development and lastly put us in front of many new prospects, some that we've often had challenges getting in front of. (Listed major clients)

I was just really shocked to hear if anything that my eligibility for bonus would be reduced. It's truly demotivating and disheartening.

I very much don't believe any person would be eager to jump from Inside Sales to Sales Development if that is the real process (a decrease in bonus). At the very least, it should be linear (in my opinion).

Other than an Opportunity Meeting with so and so at 10am I am free. Please let me know if you have any availability to discuss.

Best,
-me"
