How do you prepare yourself for a job interview??

Their questions aren't all about them, it's mainly all about you... that said..you still have no idea what you'll be asked..i read up on a pet store i was going to try for..my first question to answer was If you could be an animal, What would you be??, and Why??
Research the place you want to work. And prepare questions for them. A job interview is a 2-way street.

@Sibo191: i done that..then got hit with "if you were an animal, what would you be and why??...Then try my hardest and quickest to find an answer
If I got asked a question that stupid in an interview I'd get up and walk out.

@Sibo191: i found out why afterwards

I hate them. I know it isn't going to be comfortable for either of us and it's all just about jerking someone off with words. Job interviews are about the most fake and insincere things we do as humans in the modern world. It's a ll about being the best bullshit artist you can possibly be while keeping a straight face for 30-45 min.

@MethDozer: exactly what i was thinking, is there any interview that wants to hear the real you haha lolz

@All2livefor: Never. Nor do they want you to answer most questions honestly or ask the questions you really want know about.

" Why do you want work here?"
Honest Answer: I need work and you're hiring. I want to work here because I need a paycheck. ( This honest and obvious answer is wrong. You have to tell them some bullshit about actually liking the company or finding the place interesting or some similar nonsense.)

" Where would you like to be in 5 years?"
Honest answer: " Someplace with high wages, low work load, and low hours." ( don't ever admit to this. Just don't)

Now your question;

"How much are you going to pay me?"
For some reason this is considered rude and not a proper interview question. You're supposed to ask What kind of ethos they have or work environment to expect. Some trite trip like that.
