Tomorrow is My Last Day

As of March 26th, 2021, the end of four years at a job that I did not particularly enjoy but was grateful to have, will finally be here. There are no mixed emotions. I am purely joyful and grateful.

I am elated to embark on a new journey as of Monday, March 29th in my new position...and put the past entirely behind me.

I've relocated to a new city, purchased a new home and will now have a new (actual) career.

I've learned so much about myself and others and will be taking those lessons and renewed motivation with me.

For anyone suffering on a thankless job that fills them with dread and causes them to ponder existence, keep the faith...never quit on yourself.

There is a way out, even if it takes some time before you can see the light.
CONGRATS!!! I love your ancient world map, btw. I left the "workforce" to become a self-employed, licensed professional. I LOVE IT and will NEVER go back. Is your new position in the same field; other than relocating and having a career feel, are you still hired and working for someone's riches and success. Sounds to me that you are ready to MAKE YOUR OWN WAY in this world and I appreciate you encouraging others to face the truth about their 9-5/40hr/+benefits and see is as the J-O-B, just over budget, for what it truly is...Ms E

The time you spent made you a stronger person, lessons were learned and you’ve achieved a greater perspective I’m assuming.

Congratulations. I’ve kind of learned a similar lesson in my working career.

Good for you and best of luck.
