Have you ever taken time off when transitioning between jobs?

Yes i have. Sometimes i just pushed the start date of my new job out by a month or so.

Only in 2019 when I moved back to my own country and started working for myself. I took a month off. Now I don't have to switch jobs.
No, I have always walked from one thing into another, though currently I am wishing I did take some time. I need a holiday.

@SW-User I took an offer in May 2020 and I've been at that place since then. Unfortunately all the other stuff didn't pan out.
