Working from home

Thoughts and feelings?

I've been working from home for just under a year now and it has been great for me, it has made a shit job bearable I am having anxiety over the thought of returning to the office. The majority of my team want to return including my manager who hates home working...

Interested in peoples feelings on this??

I have always hated it in the past but I set myself up to do it properly when the pandemic came and it hasn’t been terrible. Right now I work 2 days in the office and three at home, which is going well. But I do like to keep my home and work lives as separate as possible and that’s harder when you WFH.

I love working from home! I worked from home for six years prior to the job I have now. I don’t like going into the office either. We’ve all been working from home since last year, and many of us are not planning to go back to the office more than once a month or so. There are studies about the benefits to employers having remote workers. I suggest doing some research so you have some talking points for the conversation about staying remote.

@MarineBob one thing that maybe in my favour is that our property is running out of space because of the new projects that we are putting together so maybe no room for me..
