At a time when you’re looking for support from those in senior management they often look at a situation from the point of‘damage limitation’.
Which effectively means sh*t flies down rather than up as it probably should.

Sorry. It happens. And perhaps this path was not the right one at the right time. Perhaps there would have been more shit down the road no matter how successful you imagined it would be. .. would not have been. It also means, you’re not ready, so you have to go back to the drawing board and focus on what can be better, that you can control from within ;that’s my take on “missed” or screw ups) be yourself and move on. Definitely do NOT attempt a coup !

I am proud I was the kind of manager who sought to empower my employee's, often delegating some of my own responsibilities so they would learn my job, that gave me extra time to bring even greater achievements and awards to my department. I'm happy to a many of my former employee's are now mangers themselves. Makes me proud.

@CheshireCatalyst long story short a notifiable data breach. Which is bad enough but then just a whole shit show of mismanagement before the case got to me
