Have you ever worked with someone that...

Wanted to be your friend so bad and bc the feeling wasn’t mutual they became upset and stopped working well with you, ultimately causing unnecessary problems in the workplace? If so, how did you handle this?
What Karma said. It's important to keep personal and professional life separate.
@Karmalives 😹🤭 nah...you know you're sweeter than me.

Accept it! 😾

@Vivaci Na! We are both sweet enough ... Now lets keep this shit Professional! 😆
@Karmalives Atta boy! 😄✌️

I am not at work to find friends or a relationship, If I am,my priorities are a little fucked up.... I am there to do a job and I keep them separate., So this sounds like THERE problem not yours, Wish you well.
@Karmalives Boom 💥 Exactly!! Thank you

@DecafD No problem, if it helps remember this one thing "YOU are responsible for what you say and do, NOT how they react" 😉
I did actually. It eventually resolved itself; crazy bitch got fired.
@DecafD maybe your crazy girl is my crazy girl. She was obsessively clingy. And inappropriate
@BettyBeez omg YESSSS!!!! Clingy and super inappropriate!!
@DecafD kill it with fire. This will only get worse

I ignored them also. I work to make a living not collect friends. I keep the two separate. Nobody needs to know my private life in a work environment.

I had one TRY to befriend me, but I was certain that it wasn't genuine, so Ididn't let her get close. She would say things bout me to other people, (within earshot). She would tell me i was pretty and try to hug me and shit🤔

I doubt she was gay. And what urks me more is her name was Divine, of all names. She was anything but.
@iamnikki hahhaa That last part got me! Anything but Divine. Yeah she sounded two-faced and that she only wanted to be your friend bc she wanted to be seen around the office hanging out with the best looking employee to gain popularity points.

@DecafD I don't know what her problem was to be honest
I definitely have had some coworkers that have been pushy with being friends and hanging out and I do usually decline but luckily my job doesn't actually require me to ever interact with any of my colleagues so even if any of them are offended there isn't anything they could do to cause problems within the workplace.
@MrBlueGuy oh that’s nice! I wish everyone was remote or at least working solely from home so that this could be my situation.

Yup, it was my husband best friend, but I didnt trust her. She was in love with my husband despite him having not having the same feeling so she tried to be friends with me, made up lies about him, bitch ended up getting fired for causing a hostile work environment
@AlyAngel wow! So selfish to ruin someone else’s marriage!!
DearAmbellina2113 · 41-45, F
I had a manager who invited me to join her trivia team after work, but when I politely declined, she became butthurt and treated me like shit at work from then on.
@DearAmbellina2113 wow- trivia isn’t even that fun. I hate when coworkers or even managers believe that they have ownership of your free time when you’ve been with them already for 8 f#^*!¥£ hours that day! Like how much more one on one time does someone need?
DearAmbellina2113 · 41-45, F
@DecafD exactly!!!

Someone trying to be my friend? Lol, nope. Must be somewhere in another galaxy. 😅
Jeffrey53 · 51-55, M
I never make friends with people I work with it just causes trouble.
@Jeffrey53 I have the same policy
