My 2 coworkers got me to sweep and roll up the rugs....

Was I right to ask them for extra brownie points? I felt like collapsing already. They're both men.

Tell your boss that you did it

@purplepen I would have worked. Over time is over time. Besides when you do that. a boss knows they can trust you. I can understand that as well. You do need time off. Did three different times,Where i work 12 days straight in a row,no time off. Was like a walking zombie. We all need time off. I thought i was going to be laied off as well. But still working.

@bhatjc Yes. I do lots of extra hours for them when they need, but because of my health I had to refuse that one.

purplepen what form do brownie points take then 🤔
purplepen · 51-55, F
@smiler2012 It's a jokey thing. I gave one of them a certificate for brownie points yesterday.

@purplepen not suggesting for one minute you are in this category but some kiss arse for brownie points it is unbelievable the length so people will go to get up the greasy pole of life
purplepen · 51-55, F
@smiler2012 Yes that wouldn't be good. I did decline to sweep the rugs a few days ago, because there wasn't a huge delivery expected that night.

They should have done it. Not you.
purplepen · 51-55, F
@Eddiesolds Yes. Naughty boys. They're expecting to get tired later on, IF we get a large grocery delivery. So I want those brownie points.

But one of them has a habit of getting me coffee when we work late, so I'm not going to fuss _too_ much.
