Can you tolerate and trust those who incessantly gossip?

I like to listen to learn things, but remember "those that gossip with you will gossip about you" so I don't tell them anything I don't want others to know.

They're telling me everything I need to know about "Them".. Like "keep away".. "keep your distance" and "tell them nothing"..

No. You have to know when someone is hurt by the actions of others toward them and troubled or if they just enjoy spreading stuff about others.
