Would it annoy you if a coworker consistantly answered questions that you ALREADY answered CORRECTLY?

I feel like my co-worker does this just to have the last word.
So annoying. I already answered the damn question, yet you answer again, giving a long drawn out response. The correct answer was indeed ' no' and that's what tf i said. 🙄

Some people do things just to be annoying on purpose

@Bootsiebaby Every site seems LOADED with jerks and trolls. They are trying to outgross one another. Some posts seem to outweigh the GOOD people on here. And there are times when they don't know what the subject of the conversation is all about and butt in, or ridicule your posting/answer.

@Bootsiebaby That's all I've been asking for. But seems like Johnny can't read and his parents aren't much better. We have (or at least I have) asked each other to be more civilized, and what do we get? Nothing from nothing leaves nothing.

Maybe she just likes to hear herself speak. 🗣️

@FloorGenAdm i think so. She said herself that she has a beautiful speaking/ phone voice. Her phone voice is more annoying than the ladies on the as seen on tv commercials i swear. When i first heard her talk it was funny
Now its annoying as hell. And to hear her voice go from high pitch phone voice, to low regular voice while on the same call is annoying as hell too

You gotta love em.

Were that me, I would turn and say something on the order on, "Excuse me...I already answered that question!" Maybe she/he is trying to make trouble or points with the boss. If it's done in front of the boss or supervisor. it is her/his place to interrupt and say politely but firmly, "We've already covered/answered that."

Follow up their statement with, "As I just said."

Your regular complaints about work suggest that you could be just as annoying as your coworkers. I hope I'm wrong, and I wish you luck in finding something better.

@iamnikki I meant on SW. It's not good to still be thinking about work in your spare time.
iamnikki · 31-35, F
@ImKelsey I was at work when I posted this. Plenty of people post the same things. it's what i want to discuss and that's fine. Block me if you don't want to see my posts about my work💁🏾

@iamnikki Okay. Carry on.

In my workplace, I don't mind answering questions about doing a procedure correctly up to a point. We all forget sometimes. Now, if it's a basic operation and they've been around for a few weeks, I just direct them to the trainer, who then yells at them and then at the leads. She's fun.

@Bootsiebaby I had a black co-worker who seemed to resent the fact that I was the supervisor's favored employee. I never made a big deal out of it, but one day we had a disagreement (can't recall what it was over now), she complained to the supervisor, and we had a group meeting to discuss the issue. In that meeting, Annie (the girl) acknowledges she'd been in the wrong, and the supervisor said us, "I think she'd accept an apology."

I didn't request one. All I began to say was, "I don't want an apology -" The rest of my intended sentence was " - I want to work together in co-operation." I never got that far. The supervisor cut me off and demanded that I accept the offered apology. The words didn't say what I intended to say.

@Bootsiebaby First of all, I said nothing to anyone else. If my supervisor said anything to anyone else (including Annie) I was not made aware of it. Secondly, the question dealt with someone answering after you did. I mentioned this incident in my working life so that I could indicate how words can get misconstrued. I was never given the opportunity to say what I really meant to say. Annie's being a black woman had nothing to do with the disagreement we had. I just can't remember what even started it all.
