Do you prefer being kept in the loops of things or do you just don't care

At my workplace, there are these 2 co-workers that kind of go quiet all of a sudden and you just KNOW they're gossiping about something. One's a guy and the other's a lady and the guy is really nice but then these kind of things make you wonder is he though? is he really? And it just makes you wonder if you're the subject of their gossip : (
