Would you comply with wearing a tracking device on your person per the request of your employer?

Today the administration at my place of employment informed us of a new national pilot program our building was selected to participate in. The program entails that all employees are to wear a tracking device so as to provide real time data as to how many man hours are being spent in each operation. No literature or documentation covering the legality of the program was provided. There was no power point presentation elaborating on any detail. No website we could be referred to for more information. When raising the question as to whether or not employees are contractually obligated to participate, I was met with hostility and abruptly "assured" that all bases are covered. The point was made that non-compliance would absolutely result in disciplinary action being taken. What are your thoughts?

Some companies are requiring the chip be implanted. It sounds as if this may be a precursor. I value my privacy too much to agree to that.

@ArishMell when the anti Christ is ruling with his muslim army the muslims will behead us if we refuse to take the mark of the beast. its in revelations in the bible. 😺

@trackboy You get dafter! :-)

@trackboy muslims kill by beheading. isis and the Taliban kill its victims by beheading them. is very clear in the bible that it will be muslims beheading us for refusing the mark as its muslims that kill by beheading. their prophet allah the luminous one is lucifer the luminous one as he is the brightest angel and was gods highest creation. anyone that takes the mark will be stung by demons and suffer grievous sores as god wont protect them from the demons. then at the end god will cast anyone that took the mark into the lake of fire to be destroyed along with lucifer and all the demons. 😺

That's fucked up.
People need to leave or they won't get the message, or at least protest against it or say no.

Like you could actually get everyone together and refuse, if they say no you all walk and/or tell news sources. Fuck em.
A lack of unity is routinely the culprit when it comes to the deterioration of protest here. There are those who are quite literally diehard loyalists to personalities in upper management and would never "challenge" authority. @Ryannnnnn

I would resign and see out my two weeks. If required to participate in the monitoring during that time I would seek legal help.

In Britain this is illegal.It's called time and motion and has been against the law for decades.Anything not in your job description can be refused.If your employer tries to discipline you then take legal action.They will back down immediately.

What (if anything) is the union's view of it? Or is this company one that does not recognise trade-unions?
Interestingly enough, as the union President entered from the rear of the room, the meeting was abruptly adjourned.@ArishMell
