If it is trimmed and neat, no, if it is unruly, either trim it or shave it. Also depending on the job, I once read somewhere never trust a salesperson with facial hair, I cannot remember why, I think it was the whole hiding thing.
@Lackwittyname That is so lame!! I think those people are MORE interesting and probably more independent thinkers...but these business managers, how they think is so totally screwed around!!!
Depends upon the position you're applying for and the company that's offering the job. Is there any way for you to find out if they're beard friendly between now and then? If not, I'd say it's probably a good idea to shave it all off. You can always grow it back.
