How to relieve work related stress ?

Meditation helps,plus
- don't talk much at office
- get noise cancellation headphones
- keep a small/cute plant at your desk
- stop thinking about work the moment you logout
- Don't be on any WhatsApp groups from office
- Don't hangout with your colleagues
- Always keep reminding yourself that Identity doesn't matter.
- Stop thinking that you are intelligent
- Try to be silly at work once in a while
Lot of things you can do, it comes with practice :)

@SimplyLogicalDiscipline some quite interesting advice. As an employer what can I do to reduce my employees stress ? Again it's a hypothetical question lol
@MasterofNone give 40 to 50 percent hike in appraisal 😍

@MasterofNone we have lost track of important priorities
MasterofNone · 26-30, M
@JoeyFoxx Yes exactly.
everyone relives stress differently. I like to talk through things for that.
MasterofNone · 26-30, M
@Girlyfriendcollecting talk through with whom?
@MasterofNone anyone I can find

While at work: Get up and walk around.
Away from work: Do what makes you happy.
TimSummers · M
@MasterofNone True but hard to nap that way
MasterofNone · 26-30, M
@TimSummers I can safely assume then that it's hard to do what you really love when you're working a corporate job.
TimSummers · M
@MasterofNone Nope. It is called taking time for yourself. Get your responsibilities done at work then do for you when at home.

It's a mental trap, that doesn't easily let you come out of it.

The solution needs you to bring mentally out of that state. The state of meditation helps you attain that.

Start each day with a positive attitude would be a good start. Starting a work day thinking that you will hate it can't be helpful.
MasterofNone · 26-30, M
@gmatthewb what if there's something that can't not be hated and the person is incapable of exercising such control over their thoughts ?
gmatthewb · 51-55, M
@MasterofNone I will agree, that isn't for everyone. It really depends upon what is causing the stress. If it is a co-worker, then avoiding that person would be helpful, if possible. Some times, unfortunately, it may come down to changing jobs to relieve or avoid the stress. Noticing the stress when it happens and taking a moment to calm down could also be helpful if that is possible at the time.
MasterofNone · 26-30, M
@gmatthewb sure.
@TryingtoLava seriously? 🤐
