Like it or not, most people have to work. What do you dislike the most about working?

For me, it was the endless delays and frustrations of an urban commute. Being retired is a daily joy in that I’m not getting on that damn bus anymore.

Micromanager - watches every single word everyone says
Goes into my email, but thinks I haven’t found out
She tries to back off but I think she has a compulsive disorder (?)
Commute

The hours, the long days, the drama, and no praises for a job well done.

It takes up most of my week

Micromanaging for sure.

When leadership regurgitates the latest buzz words or implements a 'new strategy' they just read about in the most recent managerial book but don't actually understand what they are saying or the concept.
Meaningless business jargon makes someone look like a complete moron to me.

When people are managed as processes and treated like emotionless robots.

Corporate BS, and micromanagers.

The fact that it takes up so much of your time

I hate meetings. So, my career in management will go nowhere. Also, everything has to go through a committee or several people before a decision can be made.

I dislike when management changes abruptly in between and all the bulky projects have to suffer the pricks of an absolutely useless boss.

The Bull shit because I didn't volunteer to work on the weekends I must not be in need of a raise.

Often not being able to have a break

I retired from a university and they told us they would micromanage less but did the exact opposite. Many meetings about the most trivial things, and took away from our work time.

Just the time it takes. Makes it hard to squeeze everything in.

I dislike that people are managed by idiots. Idiots in management that is. And they don't seem to get fired or replaced frequently. I also don't like that because something has been done a certain way for a long time, it continues. Some things need changing. I am used to being hired and organizing. Making positive changes.
