Do you have an awkward work story, what happened?

The owner farted in a meeting and stunk up the joint. I thought I was going to pass out.

One of my employees(carpenter) was messing with a married woman. I needed a blueprint from a home we were building and I drove over to get it from our work trailer. When I got there, there was a car I didn't recognize, and a light on in the new construction. The door was locked and I let myself in.

I could hear them going at it upstairs, and I shot up the stairs two at a time to give him holy hell. Except it wasn't him. It was the owners-to-be of the new home. More awkward.

I will be much more stealthy next time I come upon that situation.

Well I don’t actually work, but I was playing dead for this man at his funural home, and while he had me laying naked on the embalming table, a delivery driver walked in to deliver a coffin.. he was totally unaware I was just playing dead and not actually dead.. I had to lay there totaly undignified while he helped the mortician roll this coffin to the storage room and have him sign the delivery paperwork, and stood there for several minutes talking about me and the mortician making up some story about how I died... I would breathe real slow and hold my breath whenever he looked my way. He never got closer than 10 feet away, so he couldn’t see micro movements a person makes so to him I was dead.. awesome and awkward at the same time

When one of my besties was a server she worked with a really mean, nasty hostess. They all had one bathroom for employees and it didn't always lock well. She needed the bathroom and went walking in and found the poor girl changing her feminine product. It was truly a humiliating moment. From that day forward she was very kind to my bestie.

I once replied to a friend's email with a somewhat flirty response. (Yeah, "flirty." Let's call it that.) Unfortunately, I didn't realize that it wasn't her personal email, but a group email she shared with the rest of her group.

Whoops.

I was talking with an office mate telling her, “I have to leave in a fast, coz I hate to be on the same elevator with the Manager”...and all along I was saying that, he was actually behind me. 😭😭🤐😣

I was walking up the stairs and turn around to say something to the woman behind me, and there were three women "inhaling my cologne" behind me.
Disconcerting, to say the least.

i was doing one of those jobs for school. and the wife of the boss winked at me and touched me inappropriately xD

I went to work. That’s what happened.

When the supervisor held a meeting and told us that we weren't to be using our cell phones unless it was break or lunch time talking to us like we were children. Then as the meeting was over and we were all leaving she was talking to her husband about what groceries to get when they got off of work. It was still about 30 minutes till lunch break.

I thought a co worker I never met was someone from my team. So when this person was walking really loudly in front of me I said “can you walk any louder?” She turned around and that’s when I knew I fucked up. I apologized and walked away

Its horrendous..too much to go into right now
