Funny that you should mention this. Was just talking to someone recently, and we both agreed...."it's not WHAT you know, but WHO you know, that gets you the job most of the time"

I sorta did. I worked where I am now for a long time on contracts. But when it came up...I got it. I still had to apply...but I think getting along with everyone helped.
