Customer service jobs be like

What’s your worst customer service story?

-People who don't get the simple fact that cashiers don't control the pin pad or credit/debit transaction. They just push a button to activate the pin pad and that's it. So when the customer's card declines and they say "You must be doing something wrong," they just sound like an idiot.

-When someone asks you for advice and says "Well you're the expert," but you're just a cashier/sales floor person. Cashiers and Sales Floor do not require any sort of knowledge about the store's items. It doesn't even require that in the job description. Just knowing how to count money, locate an item, check the price and bag the item is all that's required to do.

-People who never put their carts and unwanted items away. Did their parents teach them nothing or are they just stupid? Put the carts and items back where they belong. You're not a kid anymore.

-People who don't read the restrictions of a coupon and people who don't read the expiration date but still expect cashiers to accept the coupon. The last thing someone wants is to be nagged by their boss or fired from their job so why the hell would a cashier accept an expired/invalid coupon?

-When a store only accepts coupon barcodes and the cashier tells the customer this but the customer still says "Well it has a promo code." The cashier JUST. SAID. That they only accept barcodes! This means that the cash register can only read barcodes and is incapable of accepting and understanding promo codes.

-Scammers who try to get hundreds of dollars out of the store by buying multiple gift cards or try to fool you into giving more cash back than what's allowed when they purchase their stuff.

-When people demand a discount when they haven't brought their coupons and then threaten to tell the manager, and act pissy when they still don't get their way.
@goagainsttheflow I’m still in it 😂 the worst one was working in an airport and dealing with a JFK passenger. I got in their face, ripped their ticket up and walked into the back and started going off.

@Freudianslip13 Wow! No one's pushed me that far but it's only a matter of time! 😤
@goagainsttheflow I’ll never forget them. I’ve got tons of stories with passengers where they’ve pushed me or my coworkers too far 😂

If I get my post office job, I'll probably be remembering this meme.
@MrAboo oh you will
You talkin' from the call center side or the customer side?
@Freudianslip13 Mine is about when FedEx picked up my three glass nesting tables in Florida and swiftly delivered 93 lbs of glass beads to my front porch. I posted the whole sordid story...but it's too long to read, I have it on good authority.[image=https://similarworlds.com/30-Miscellaneous/1674615-Customer-service-After-a-major-life-change-I]
