WHY is my PC giving me different symbols in the wrong place ?

For example: if i type my e-mail address the @ symbol is in the " place.
And if i type where the @ symbol is, it isn't recognized !

Press the Windows button and space at the same time, then try again. Sounds like your keyboard layout is changed.

That's probably because the keyboard is like a different language to the computer (am I making sense? Idk)
Cause in the UK the " and @ are swapped compared to the American keyboard

Mine does this sometimes too,
if you're using Windows 10, you should be able to quickly change it here
