Do you try to win the approval of those in authority, sometimes when you don't really like them?

When it's all work related and if the task happens to be delivered from them well I don't have a choice. It's all for the task not for the person no matter how much I don't like them. I am willing to work with demons and idiots too bad whatever happens on my expense.."risk"

Personally i always go in with the idea that it's more useful to be professional about what you do.
Doesn't mean you have to be 'stand-offish' or deliberately not involve yourself with others, it just means that i regard work as work. Not a chance to preen your feathers in front of the brass as some choose to.

Nope. I was diagnosed with oppositional defiance disorder, meaning I typically fight back with any authoritative person. I never care what they think of me, funny enough, my bosses love me. One pushes to have shifts with me.
