I Need to Be Intellectually Stimulated

Are you more of a TV person, or do you prefer other means to get information and entertainment?
SW-User
I do watch a little t.v. Well, it's not that little...average size I would say, but I only watch it infrequently.

I much prefer conversation with like minded individuals when applicable, and non like minded when I am not already feeling exhausted and I think I can handle it. Lol

I don't think you could handle me.

@Madeleine: as much as I enjoy a hearty challenge ( and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't intrigued) I never force the issue. If you say it's so, then I will have to take your word for it. Pitty though. :(

A bit of both. I like dramas. But I like to read books and watch some CNN and local news I like to a bit well rounded before.coning up with a conclusion

I like your balance. For me, I only watch TV when there's a live soccer game on, which is the only thing I can't get without TV.

I hear ya. Wish I had more time for sports. I do like a good football game

I get my entertainment through theaters, Netflix/various online sources, info is only online now, the television feels barely used these days for me.
Madeleine · 41-45, F
I feel the same way. Plus, I like to choose what type of information I get, most of information out there are useless.
guymanly2 · 26-30, M
@Madeleine: absolutely with so much b.s. Hitting the waves it's hard to find information that is honest, I worry it may get worse under president Sunkist whining about being picked on.

I want a fair bit of TV shows but don't watch regular TV. I also read and usually have numerous creative projects on the go. I love learning too
Madeleine · 41-45, F
It's important to keep the balance. There's a great joy in learning, it's an entertainment for us.
I use a combination of television, radio, the Internet and the newspaper for news sources. Especially, NPR: National Public Radio.
Madeleine · 41-45, F
I bet you never miss a thing.
@Madeleine: I don't know about that. Lol My schedule is hectic during the week. But when driving long distances, I enjoy the variety of news and stories presented on NPR. I recommend it highly.
Ghauzy · 51-55, M
I rarely watched TV and when I do is to enjoy cooking competitions.
I learn about what's going on mostly by twitter, linkedin and national public radio.
Madeleine · 41-45, F
Me too, at least you get to choose what to watch. TV doesn't give us this option.
TheConstantGardener · 56-60, M
The radio and internet provide alternative sources of information. The problem is trying to find the balance of a story.
Madeleine · 41-45, F
I think we need a bit of everything. The internet is never an enough source of information. Books are still highly needed in my opinion.
IchBin2 · 22-25, M
I usually visit Hacker News (https://news.ycombinator.com/) for science and technology related stuff.
