I Have Special Ed Friends

I like to be friends with everyone in my class if possible. And I’m in a special Ed school so all my friends are special needs. My best friend is like me and suffers from deafness and sadly she is mute as well meaning she won’t speak. I can speak but I already know I sound either like a child or as someone who use to work in McDonald’s said I sound retarded. So I avoid speaking out loud unless I really have to or I’m around family.
There is one girl in my class I would love to be friends with cause she is very kind to people but we can’t talk To each other because I’m deaf and she’s blind. We have a friend that helps use as they understand sign language and they have their hearing so we sign to them and she talks to the other girl.

It's good to be friendly.

I'm sorry you were treated badly at McDonald's but glad you are all supportive of one another.

They should stop calling all the kids 'Ed'. They'll never have a sense of individuality.
