I was sent on an epic quest the first time I heard a didge on a mixtape in 1987.
"What is that SOUND and where do I find more of it?" It was to take several years to locate more of those sonics in those days before the global village was quite as wired together as it is now.But it kept on with it. mrrroooowwwwwrrrrrrrr
I have a nice one sitting in the corner, cracked and a bit dusty, but I get some good sounds out of it on occasion. It is an intense physical experience to play it.
Oh,I just remembered that I opened for Stephen Kent and Trancemission -twice !
wow,I love that band.
I digressed somewhat, but yes, bless the ancient culture that brought these songlines to our world.
