And actually, the wording they used was “we’ll [i]try[/i] to keep the middle seat vacant”. No promises that they will, and a sold out flight can still happen.

True and I heard Frontier Airline is offering you a $39 option to assure your middle seat isn’t sold unless all the others are full.@Zaphod42

Even with an empty seat I’ll still take a hard pass. These days a plane is just a beaker with wings. It doesn’t matter how far away you are from infected people. You’re still breathing their air.@Zaphod42
