Were you born in the wrong time period?

As an experienced anachronism, comfortable in the uses and habits of multiple centuries, i got to say the past is not quite as darling as portrayed..
the smell of 17th century london ALONE would stop many.

the early 20th has some nice features, but food cleanliness problems, universal alcoholism ( many centuries of that)

but the 20's thur the Bad War would be a lot of fun,
I like the mid sixties in southern calfornia too.. jet travel many fun things hardly discovered.

for al the hardship, the late paleoplithcl life is nto so bad,
extended camping trip you know.

I believe i would be happy In Minoan Crete,, say about 1300 bc, remarkable culture, not fortresses, Indoor plumbing, Snake Goddess Priestess for church. Stunning art, pretty egalitarion for the age.


there are so many places and times i would visit, just to see.
late early kindown Egypt when the great Pyr was new.

Hattusa of the hittites, Babylon the great,

1600's carribean,

But I hope.... the best choice will be a future, as yet unformed
