What would be your ideal vacation spot?

I'd love to rent a modern log home up in the mountains, with a jacuzzi and an enormous window with a view.

I LOVE Northeast France...Alsace, the food, the architecture, the blending of German and French, amazing!!!

Interesting... I'm experienced in the north of France... (well.. ok, just Paris and Dijon)...

I'm interesting now in visiting southern France... we now have friends there.

I love Paris and Dijon.. have less experience in the south of France, but want to spend more time there.

My ideal vacation spot would be somewhere that was right outside of a big city. With a few country back roads that I could drive very fast on. I could wake up and decide what I wanted to do and it would be unique and different every day. The backdrop of mountains would also be a bonus.

Any sea-shore .

not any one .. there are a few favorites from my travels so far, Ring of Kerry, Andalucia - Seville to be precise .. i would love a nice road trip in French riviera area ..
Of course back home in india .. i have to travel a lot still .. hope to add more to this list ;)
