Would you hold a stranger's baby?

As I boarded my flight there was a woman holding a young infant and simultaneously attempting to collapse the child's stroller for a crew member who idly stood by waiting to accept it. A lady in front of me kindly asked the woman if she needed her baby to be held before kindly obliging. It made me wonder if I'd have been aware and selfless enough to offer the same or would I have walked past the woman as the majority of passengers did. Is fear of litigious retribution a deterring factor when deciding whether or not to simply be a Good Samaritan?

My Dear Wife had an appointment she had to go to and asked a relative stranger to look after our infant daughter. I was away at work. The neighbour said yes and Dear Wife came back a few hours later and the neighbour woman informed her that our daughter had got hungry and rather than use the mild Dear Wife had left the woman simply breast fed our daughter. She had a son about the same age as our daughter and had lots of milk to spare so.....

I did couple of months ago at the airport ; a lady on the same flight told me she had to take her other daughter and ask me to look over her son

Kinda awkward honestly but atleast I introduced him to some DBZ 😂

Just take the baby and ruuuuuuuun hehe joking but no I would do the same as others why is she boarding with an infant it should in bed napping
I always offer to help struggling parents. I've been that struggling parent and small moments of kindness like that helped me make it thru
I am a mom, I would have offered to hold her baby, I know how stressful certain moments can be.

I'd sooner ask to collapse the stroller for her

No. I don't help people because I literally don't care. 🤷🏻‍♂️

It’s been a long time for me, and I probably wouldn’t offer. But my friends with children probably would.
