Where did you go on your first plane ride?

1974 New York to Istanbul. I had to stay in London 10 days because of the Greek Cypriot war.

Flew from Stewart AFB to Louisville Kentucky in an Air Force C-141 (then took a bus to Fort Knox).

To basic training and AIT from Little Rock Arkansas to Dallas, to Ft. Sill Oklahoma. The last plane was a little rattle trap that made me nervous as hell! The first one was a big fancy shmancy one where the hostess seemed to be trying to get me drunk!

Across the state. it was a 20 minute flight. I had a friend who arranged for us to go to an art museum and have dinner. It was a simple fun time.

I was 5 and was going from Ireland to New York!
