Yes, I have been there, my ex-wife is from there, so I was there every year for the last nine years. Definitely a great city, though I remember a number of years ago when it was not safe at all, things have changed and it has gotten safer over time.

Wonderful place, as well as the surrounding area! And, such nice people. Once some locals gave up their table at a restaurant so we tourists could have an ocean view by the window.
