If you were transported 400 years into the past with no clothes or anything else, how would you prove that you were from the future?

SW-User
I'd tell them their future🔮

Then I'd have to hide so I wasn't burned for them suspecting that I'm a 🧙‍♀️

@SW-User A witch! Burn her!
Northwest · M
@SW-User 400 years ago, yes, for sure, they would attribute to witchdom, not time travel. Nice knowing you.
MrsKatherineArch · 41-45, F
I wouldn’t try. If I thought I was going to be permanently stuck back then, I would just try to blend in. 400 years ago they burned people as witches or heretics.
SweetMae · 70-79, F
I still have my teeth!! And my age.
Henny · 61-69, M
I am clean shaved below and I am prety sure they did not do so back then
Northwest · M
@Henny
I am clean shaved below and I am prety sure they did not do so back then
There's a difference between not doing it then, and whether or not it's possible to do it. 400 years ago, it would have been possible for someone to shave down there.
SW-User
I am taller than anyone then.
@SW-User How tall are you ?
QuietEd2019 · 31-35, M
@bijouxbroussard for me I am 6’3”
Northwest · M
If I am transported back in time, 400 years, totally naked, and not able to transport anything along, to prove I am from the future, my options are:

1. Point to my missing gallbladder.
2. Point to my dental work

Both options would required surgery, that 400 years ago, would kill me, so I guess I may be able to prove it, and die in the process.
SW-User
"invent" calculus before Newton, muahahaha
Northwest · M
@skymint I am
SW-User
@Northwest good point. Still, science seems like the safest place to start trying to convince people, and early scientists would be in a better position to understand than anyone else at the time. Don't want to be burned as a witch.
Northwest · M
@SW-User That's the problem. Anything you do, 400 years ago, will not set you apart from anyone else. Someone said they would build a computer, but where would you go for parts?

I can propose the Physics model, but how would I prove it, 400 years ago? I can "invent" a lot of things, but, I would be no different from any other inventor at the time.

It's a question asked often, but no one has come up with a solid answer, but it's fun trying.
Rokasu · 36-40, M
I could probably build a computer.
Northwest · M
The abacus has been around for 15 centuries or so, and yes, you can build mechanical computers, using the tools of the time, but that would only prove you’re smart, not a time traveler.

@Rokasu

@Northwest You’re taking this a little too serious.
skymint · 31-35, F
@Rokasu I agree.
NeloAngelo · 26-30, M
That would take us to just before the golden age of piracy. Probably. Kick start productions of the steam engine early
chrisCA · M
As others have said, you stand the risk of being accused of witchcraft, but I would try to share my knowledge.
Mention Johnny O' Linger's name; they'll all know him!
QuietEd2019 · 31-35, M
Talk about an event in their future
The fact that I’m able to read and write English and French would be a clue. Also the fact that as a female I’m “intact”. I understand FGM was a thing with some of my ancient ancestors. It still happens on some parts of that continent, sadly.
MethDozer · M
I'd just beat all their asses and rule them like swine.
skymint · 31-35, F
@MethDozer 😆
