If you could time travel back in time, what year would be your first stop and why?

1966 it's when I was about to move from a place where I liked people and they liked me (elementary school) and I was going to a bigger metropolitan area and we were going into middle school where even the guys were mean girls.

I'd tell myself that the ones that didn't like you didn't matter.

1940's to stalk Huxley and Steinbeck

1984. There is a person I need to kill or at the very least scare the ever loving daylights out of them to stay away from my younger self.

Either the start of the roman, ottoman or mongol empire. I would make everyone follow my rule.

Personally speaking ?
I guess going back to '75 and spending more time with my dad.
If I HAD to go through all that school stuff again. I'd not be so intimidated by teachers who were challenge able.
Maybe joined the Navy on leaving school instead of taking a 'career' in social work.
If I'd survived that Falklands war and several other 'skirmishes' since '81, maybe retired on half-pay at 35. Confident in myself and my abilities.
Maybe earned a fortune in the private sector using the knowledge gained in the Navy.

I'd tell myself not to talk to him, no matter how cute he is or how bad I wanna help him. 🙄

My answer will always be the same. I just really wanna see some dinosaurs.

Probably Victorian England or Ancient Rome but only if I could be rich there. I could be as wicked as I wanted to 🙂😉
