Thinking about a trip out West

Highway 93 between Jasper and Banff in the Rocky Mountains. You will not be disappointed

If you go as far as CA. the coastlne (Pacific Coast Highway) just south of SF. is awesome, Big Sur where the redwoods meets the ocean. Also look up the the Winchester House, this is a mansion that the Heiress of the Winchester rifle co. was told as long as she kept building, the ghosts of all those killed by one of the rifles would leave her alone, thus carpenters worked on the mansion 24/7 for year after year, it'sd a facinating place with stairways going nowhere, a total archetectural maze. The grounds are incredible. Further down the highway of PCH is the famous "Hearst Castle" that is not to be missed. Enjoy your trip.

Also drop into Midland TX and visit an oil rig in action ... the scenery will mark itself in your mind.

Grand canyon, redwoods, Hollywood, golden gate bridge, fisherman's wharf, Alcatraz, space needle and old faithful just for starters.

I recommend the Pacific Ocean.
