I Need Advice

So it’s about my day, my freedom and balancing school work and going out. So basically I am in my final year of school and so far I have been going out about one day a week on the weekends to either a party, friend group gathering or just with one friend. I always have a super great time and it’s nice to relax but then I come home to my dad. He wants to revoke my freedom and make me study until the end of the school year, no parties, no social outings. Nothing. I understand he wants me to do well but I’m keeping on top of my work so far, getting good grades and doing all the revision. How should I tell my dad to back off? Because if I say it that literally he’s not going g to be happy with me (mind you he already isn’t).

Your dad wants the best for you, and hes also scared of someone else influencing you so you start to drop off. Talk to him, he needs to feel confident that you are serious and dont want to blow your education. As a dad, I understand him. It's hard to let go of your little girl, we feel a huge need to protect and guide and sometimes it comes across as being harsh. Your changing faster than he can keep up, so talk, reassure him, and tell him that you'll always respect his advice.
Then maybe you can start to make deals, and gain his trust more.
