I Am In Support of Transgender and Genderqueer People

So I’m with my son (F2M) at therapy but he asked me to step out. He said it’s harder for him to open up with me there. He said it’s awkward sometimes. I’m extremely supportive but I guess he’s like any other kid who doesn’t want mom to know everything.

He had his fourth testosterone injection yesterday. On Thursday he said his emotions were all over the place.

Well done being a supportive parent. Since I dealt with some of this (in the opposite direction), I can say that without my parents love and support, I wouldn't be here.

It's so good of you to support him. I'm thankful that my mom supported me when I felt different about my gender.
