What most surprised you about the Premiership season?

The Premier League is massively unpredictable and great at making idiots of pundit predictions. My top three are.

1) Chelsea winning the league. A pre-season sweepstake of me and friends had them outside the top four in all of our predictions. Well done Conte.
2) How bad Sunderland were. Big name manager and an established Prem club. Started off bad and got even worse. Imagine how bad they would have been without Jermain Defoe.
3) How good Tottenham were. Less money and name power than the rest of the top six but since Christmas they have been the best team in the contests. A very strong second.

Honorable mention goes to champions Leicester struggling but then I wasn't too surprised because they were always a one season wonder.

Sunderland didn't surprise me. They've had problems for years and have been needing to go down and start over. Spurs have been a nice surprise this year. You must be happy with Burnley this year.

As a Sunderland fan I'm disgusted at that bunch of no-hopers masquerading as professional footballers! There were only Jordan Pickford and JD who can hold their heads up. Good luck to both lads in their future careers. The rest can all rot for me, along with that serial failure Moyes!!
Arsenal being so piss poor

@Babylon: To the Prem? Its Brighton and Newcastle + a playoff team.

Burnley need to be better next season because both of them look pretty strong.
@Burnley123: I did know that, just momentarily forget. Good old Chris Hughton

@Babylon: He is really good. He was unlucky to be sacked at Newcastle. He just builds good teams with no fuss. Brighton don't have parachute payments either and only have an upper-mid table budget. We narrowly beat them last season and this time they have got better.
