Is it too late to pursue sports career at late 20s or early 30s?

I admit it is too late. At my place, we don't have facility where I can practice. 馃様

Definitely depends upon the circumstances, including the sport, how much athletic training you've had, and how lofty your goals are.

If you've had no athletic training and your goal is to make it into MLB, NFL, or NBA, then the odds are very long.

If you've played sports at a fairly high level in one sport, and are moving to another, with the thought of playing recreational sports, then the odds are much higher.

Ken Norton, who was the heavyweight champion of the world, and beat Muhammad Ali, didn't start boxing until the age of 24, although he played around with it in his teens. Now, he was an athlete, as he went to college on a football scholarship.

Rocky Marciano didn't have his first fight until the age of 25.

Lorenzo Cain, currently with the Brewers, didn't even start playing baseball until the age of 17, although there is a big difference between 17 and like 27.

The older you get, the longer the odds are...no doubt...but just do it because you want to, with no expectations, and see where it takes you. That way, you'll have fun, without disappointment.

馃....Pro sports, I would say yes, but on a amateur level not at all. Most Pro athletes started out when they were very young age. Some as young as 3-5 years old.

To go pro yes it's too late. But why not just do it as a hobby? Do it because you love it and be the best that you can be. You may surprise yourself.
