What's the farthest you've ever run or walked?

I remember doing a really long hike in the black hills and we were probably one more day's hike out of the forest.

My idiot friend sliced his thumb deep while whittling and we had to pack everything up and hike out to get him stitches.

I don't know the number of miles but THAT was a long day.

Leisurely maybe a kilometre. Out of necessity, several dozens of miles.

A day's hike at least. Far enough to be too painful to walk the next day.

I think I hiked 20 or so miles before.

Probably 12 miles.
