Why do sports fans always yell at the TV?
My dad always does it when he watches hockey and it鈥檚 never made any sense to me.

I can get pretty excited when watching college basketball. I'm not a crazed fanatic, but I will occasionally yell out "Wow!" or "Whooaaa!!" 馃ぃ

The same reason that they yell when they are at a game. They are fans and get invested in the game.
