This is actually pretty close to my team.
I've picked:
Ederson
Great distribution and a decent shot stopper. Courtois is no longer in the league and other potential rivals at Spurs and Man United have been erratic.
Kyle Walker
Johnson is better technically but Walker is a better defender and also probably the fastest player in the league. Johnson is good but not there yet.
Robertson
No argument at all on this one. Easily the best left back in the league.
Van Dyke
Another definate choice. Imo he's now the best centre back on the planet.
Laporte
He has been pretty good and narrowly edges it over the Spurs centre backs.
Eriksson
Pogba being in the pfa team is ridiculous and I'm sure he only got voted in because the voting coincided with his one spell of great form. Brilliant in the World Cup but for Man United he's a loafing and petulant underachiever.
Eriksson has been great for Spurs. One if these can consistently good players you can take for granted because he's 8 out of ten every week.
Fernandinho
I agree with this and he's the player City miss most when injured. A superb defensive mid.
Bernardo Silva
I agree with the pfa cos he has to be in the team. He was on the bench last season but he's so good that City haven't missed Kevin De Bruyne.
Raheem Sterling
Deservedly young player of the year and he goes from strength to strength. A much better finisher and also a much better team player than before Guardiola was coaching him.
Hazard
Mane has been really good but Hazard is still the best creative player in the league. He still gets double marked every single week and still carries a really average Chelsea team
Aubameyang
Aguero has more goals per game but the Arsenal striker has done more with an erratic supply line. Its a close call though.
