Is the Premiership really a five horse race?

Guardiola says so and is he right, or is he just flattering the opposition? We know about Liverpool. Chelsea and Arsenal keep winning. 'Crisis club' Tottenham are still very competitive. Can the other teams really go the distance with Man City?

Unless Liverpool put up a serious challenge i think City will win it this year again.

I can't see much progress being made by the likes of Arsenal or Spurs which i guess leaves Chelsea and Man.Utd. as the only logical challengers.

But from results so far i think even they will struggle.

I think

1) City
2) Liverpool
3) Chelsea
4) Arsenal
5) Spurs
6) Bournemouth

Did I forget to add someone?

Nah. I think Bournemouth can finish above Utd cos they are in a huge mess.

@Burnley123 Probably a good assessment.

I've been having rows with fellow Spurs fans on other forums because they just don't get the fact that 90% of our squad was involved in a full season, then went of to play for their respective national sides in the World Cup, many of whom were successful beyond expectation, so had virtually no rest between the end of that tournament and then had to return for training just as the new season was about to get underway !

We always knew this season would be tough because of the scheduling and the likely extended injury list that success was likely to cause.
Plus having to play another season at Wembley which should be no big deal but may have a psychological effect. It not being home. etc.

Gonna be a tough season for many i think.

Good call on Bournemouth for a top 6 spot.
It would be good to see Eddie Howe's hard work pay off with a potential European place.
They certainly deserve a crack at the Europa if nothing else !
Oh look something new, United won today
