How about you?

I'm a runner. Run to "reset" the brain and body, to deal with anxiety. Focus on that place of inner strength and greater clarity, so you stay calm and confident even in the midst of challenges.

Same with me ... I do around 20 miles a week !!!
NCCindy · 36-40, F
@BearDownChicago Clears my mind and gives me amazing looking legs as a side effect !!!
BearDownChicago · 41-45, M
Not going yo get complaints here. I like seeing nice legs
SW-User
@NCCindy 🙌 True that! I agree 101%.
Before foot surgery I walked 2.5 miles at least once a day and sometimes two. It is the best feeling in the world
SW-User
@Mondayschild I agree. Sorry about the foot surgery.

I'm not a runner but maybe I should give it a go. I really do miss sports, of course my favorites were the impacy ones, football, wrestling. But I think it's over for them.
Viper · M
@SW-User I know, but I miss the group atmosphere and a coach yelling and us complaining about the coach lol :)

I think the on your own might actually be a negative for my brain in this. I enjoy company.
SW-User
@Viper Oh....it's the opposite for me. I like solo activities mostly.
Viper · M
@SW-User I think I'm gonna have to give it a try at some point :)

Last time I ran was out the school gates. I do walk, it helps having a dog, we do about 6 to ten miles a day. It does clear the mind, like a reset button. I get lots of energy from it and inspiration.
SW-User
@SW-User True that. I also like the idea of walking a dog, which I have six. 😩....Thanks.☺

My pace for a run has decreased Recently.
I try for 3 miles.
I also take my phone to take pictures or I would get bored. It looks like you have company to encourage you.
SW-User
@Pfuzylogic 4M is my goal.
That was a fun run for children.
And like you, I take pictures along the way.
SW-User
No. I could never reach that zone people talk about. I want to. 😕
SW-User
@SW-User Zone?
SW-User
That runners high. I never managed to get to that point. @SW-User
SW-User
@SW-User You should give it a try at least. It becomes easier in due time. Plus running gives a feeling of well being every time.
BearDownChicago · 41-45, M
I wish. I can't cause of ankle problems. But love riding my bike
SW-User
@BearDownChicago Biking is good.
BearDownChicago · 41-45, M
Not bad. Just feel stamina is better with running
Endlesstime89 · 31-35, F
Nice photo! I don't run, sorry.
SW-User
I’m not a runner, but I do power walk. I admire runners though, I think it keeps people young.
SW-User
@bijouxbroussard Power walk is equally beneficial. Some days, I walk, but mostly running.☺ Thanks.
