Sadly not to be. Burnley only drew 1-1. We had a lot of chances but not our night. I'm going to see us take on Man Utd on Sunday too. Benefits of living back in the north.

@CountScrofula A small club punching massively above our weight finished seventh in the Premier League last season to qualify for European competition. Its the first time we have played in Europe since the 1960s and when I grew up we were a lower-league team (In European football teams get promoted and relegated to and from different levels).

We lost tonight, sadly, to the biggest club in Greece. This season, we have started badly in the league so have no chance of getting into Europe this season.

I'm proud of my team though. Its a town of just 80,000 people and we are just glad to even be in the Premier League.
