my granddaughter wanted to go to Camden so off we went.one of the seediest areas but that is where she lived. we saw her pics everywhere. i wish we would have searched for her house

@Lilymoon iknow. we wanted to find her grave but that was so far out of town and we ran out of time. lots of druggies were there.

@akindheart Camden was her 'playground' and where she drank and sang in the jazz clubs, hence why her statue was erected there. She actually died in the house she bought in the more affluent part of Camden.
Yep, she was buried in one of the main Jewish cemeteries in North London. Did you manage to see the exhibition of her life in the Jewish Museum? I don't think it was shown for very long. But there was another exhibition, [i]Beyond Black[/i], shown in LA last year.
