I Can Be Socially Awkward Sometimes

On a more positive note...

I was standing in line behind a beautiful young woman at Target last night and the cashier ignored the separator and started checking my stuff out too.

I said "ma'am that's my stuff!" She looked down at the separator and said "I'm so sorry... I thought you two were together."

The young woman didn't snort or throw up so that was a pretty positive feeling.

Your line could've been: "Sadly...no!"

You could use it if it ever happens again. Heck, you could even slip a small bribe to the cashier so it [i]does[i] happen again![/i][/i]
