I Don't Believe In God

I consider myself Jewish and identify with a lot of the ethical teachings of Judaism, but I've always had a hard time buying the metaphysical aspects of it. I've been thinking about it over the past couple of months and I guess this is my formal declaration: I just don't believe there's anything else 'up there.'

That you are here is a gift given. Each person has their own path in their life. It is all up to you. As you are so young, then in maybe in 20 years you will change your thinking. We all do, as different stuff happens. As life happens, then your views will change.
Quotes:
You are a child of the universe no less than the tress and the stars you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you no doubt the Universe is unfolding as it should. Max Ehrmnn
The only thing that makes life possible is permanent intolerable uncertainty: the joy on not knowing what comes next. Ursula Leguin

I don't think I would declare such a thing unless I'd completed my homework on it. So you have completely read the scriptures? Can disprove the existence of God himself? Know in your case the Torah and could debate the Rabbi on issues of deity? Many have tried. Far as I know religion remains. Hopefully perhaps later in life you may take a closer look at the issue and renounce your declaration.
