I Love To Run Around In My Bare Feet

Yesterday, as I was coming out of the neighborhood grocery, I saw a couple walking down the street, hand in hand. She was barefooted, her soles were dirty and she was walking confidently, so that told me she isn't fond of shoes. Great to see someone else freeing their feet!

It sure is! Best time of year. I love when people in my neighborhood who don't know me yell out, "Hey, Barefooted!" :)

I go barefoot just about everywhere. It's sad that I'm usually the only one that's barefoot. I remember when as school was out, shoes got thrown in the back of the closet and everyone, kids and some adults, went barefoot all the time. It was almost weird to see kids and teens who were NOT barefoot. Keep it up, and hopefully we'll inspire more!

It was weird. When I first moved to Florida as a teen, I wore shoes and socks all the time until the day I just took 'em off. It was cool to see new kids who came after me follow suit. One of the best decisions I ever made.
