What are your top 1 or two tips for building wealth?

I am a 28 year old mental health professional with Master's degree. One does not go into the professional counseling field to make money. However, I am curious to hear from "successful" people what principles or experiences they've had that have led to their monetary success. Thanks!

[c=#4C0073] Get the PHD and start your own practice. It's the difference between $30 dollars an hour and $100 an hour. Also the school system pays counselors very well. Maintain a good reputation with your clients and make your schedule manageable to handle notes or emergencies. [/c]
