Is it ok to drink a beer after an accident?

Wounds are still fresh! But feeling kind of lonely

One beer is probably just fine. Excessive drinking would probably not be advisable after an injury.

@Scribbles: Yes! Lol but it was probably a decade ago and I forgot the notes :/ I prefer to listen music from different genres and would like to sing but I don't practice at all 😥

I just looked it up. Drinking a lot of alcohol while you have an open wound, can not only inhibit the healing process, but it can cause infection.

One drink won't do anything, good or bad. If you want to have a drink, after an injury, or even surgery, go ahead and enjoy it. Just keep it to one or two a day, to allow the wound to heal properly.

@Serenitree: I had three on Wednesday and now I don't drink daily. I gave it a gap since then.

@Breadroll: good. I hope the wound wasn't too huge and bloody. Hope you heal quickly and we'll.

I wouldn't even consider drinking just because I feel lonely. That's probably the worst way to cope.

@QueenOfQuirk: a beer use to help forget loneliness and move ahead, now i am broken and kind of missing her. I drink to fix myself
SW-User
That's not a solution, I guess you can work on finding someone else
SW-User
@QueenOfQuirk: I can't i am emotionally damaged and nobody loves damaged people.
