might sound counter-intuitive but this is THE best way to get over an ex : wish them happiness in their life. that way it gives a new purpose to whatever love might still exist within you, just like seeing someone off on a trip, wish them a fun life. not to their face necessarily, just within you. at the same time this help to let go of all anger and frustrations and gives you the opportunity to continue your own life with a clean slate.
