How to remove oil traces from wood ?

My skin hydrating cream and coconut oil ruined my woody floor.
Any advices please 😘

Baking soda.
Cover stained area with baking soda overnight.
Sweep up in the morning.

If it’s ingrained, might try brown paper and a warm (not hot !) iron.
Pre-heat iron; place brown paper over the top.
Use heat from iron directly on to paper and see if stain will lift.
Not sure that it can happen actually, especially once it's saturated / permeated.

On the plus side, moisturized floors last longer :)

If you have Dawn detergent available, that will work. It might take a couple of times. Mix Dawn with a little water and with a rag or brush, clean it. It’s an excellent degreaser. 😊

Surprisingly enough, mayonnaise can take water marks away. Doesn’t always work.

Use your dry skin to soak it up? ;)
